The full, firm-level data are available to researchers. To access the complete BEEPS datasets, you must register with the Office of the Chief Economist (OCE) by completing the BEEPS Data Access Protocol. Users of this data are required to protect its confidentiality in accordance with EBRD rules governing “strictly confidential” information. These are discussed on the registration form. Adherence to these rules will ensure the EBRD can continue to conduct BEEPS.
Once you have submitted the confidentiality agreement, you will receive an email confirmation within a few minutes with access information. The email confirmation is sent automatically, via MailGun, and some email systems block their delivery. We unfortunately have no control over this and are looking for a better solution – if you are aware of one, let us know. It may be better to use Gmail, Yahoo or similar email address to register; we have not had problems reported with them so far. If you do not receive the email confirmation in your inbox or Spam folder even after you used Gmail, Yahoo or similar, then contact us via the Contact form, using `Problems with registration’ query category.
